The friends walked back to the entrance hall in silence. Boom and Endie had left, leaving a swinging door in their wake. Silence crushed the girls. A single voice broke the cold quiet.
"Leaving so soon?" Solar was leaning against a pillar lazily, spinning a knife in her fingers. The three wheeled round.
"Yep." said Carina. "Whatcha gonna do about it?" Solar smiled.
"This." She lifted her fringe and revealed the horrible sight that are her eyes, immobilising the three immediately. She clicked her fingers and the trio disappeared, leaving a trail of blue sparkles. With a small chuckle, Solar turned and left.
The hallway was silent once more.
