This was super fun to paint. However, If I'd known I was going to finish it, I would have at least centered it. It sort of looks like a gym teacher that I had in middle school. I like painting like this, It kind of feels like sculpting.

This is really great. :) I think a curved neck sloping up to some high scrunched up shoulders would have been more like a troll - head down, skin like rocks. I think this is a little more reminiscent of a goblin. If you're not finished, you could give him some bling like an earing. Maybe you'd like him to be Italian. Cyprus trees in the background on the spine of a rounded hill and a yellow sunset would be nice.

Or you could give him the body of a mutated green and hairless opossum with his tail wrapped around a branch. Perhaps a touch of a gleam in his chompers there and a neck and body twisting around to stare at the screen. Could be cool. I don't think you should stop with a floating head, but the decision is all yours.

I like your idea with the gym too. You could give him a baseball cap and a whistle maybe. If he's a coach, I think he should be pretty hairy. That seems to be a trend among all male gym teachers. Oh, esp. this Coach Williams. He could have braided his chest hair if he wanted to, which remained visible at all times no matter what he wore. His upper lip reminded me of a beak like a bird's.
