This came out much nicer than I thought it would. I hope I got everything right, I didn't use a ref.
Oh and look, my first attempt at using shadows *dramatically points at the dark shapes near the paws* Looks amazing, doesn't it??? (Sarcasm, I know it looks bad xD)

Looks really cool! I actually think the shading look good.
Also, if you made the purple rings grayer and the background brighter, it wouldn't get "pixelated" or compressed, as it's actually called.

@PSTP Thanks! And I made the purple rings bright because they are supposed to glow, and a night sky suited this pic better. I hate it when colors compresses a painting.

The weird thing is, if you watch the playback until the end, you can see the uncompressed painting.

That's not weird at all, because the playback is a completely different file than the file that's used when you're viewing the pic normally and not watching the playback. The pic you see normally is a .jpg or a .JPEG version of the very last frame of the playback, and we all know how crappy compressing method those files use. Sorry if I sound confusing. But basically, the playback and pic are two different files.

They most likely won't. The pictures would probably take too much space and the Colors! Gallery would be laggier. I don't find the compressing too annoying anyway. You still see the picture and it still looks decent. That's all that matters, IMO. It's worse if a picture has text and it becomes like this, because that can make the text unreadable.

I love the lighting and shading on this! It looks quite dark and mysterious. The shadow isn't perfect, but it still looks good, and I think the picture would seem weird without it.
