I know a way to get under the ice as adult Link, but it's really hard to explain. I'll try in the next comment, but anyway AWESOME job! :D

So what you do is climb down that ladder that is at the entrance, then go to the left and keep walking till' you see that small tunnel, and stand right beside the pillar on the left and stand on the right side of it. then do a jump attack and you'll be in the way! :D

(*way-wall) Then you go to the right until you fall in water. Then you turn around and put on your iron boots, then keep swimming toward the place under the ice, and if you sink to far, take off your iron boots! Then when you're there, put your boots back on, and voila, you're under the ice! :D
