I-I..... by Near-Miss

Edit: I'm keeping the game in exchange for TDL....

I hate them.
I hate them all.
Giving me a gift, then taking it back!

My friend gave me Pokemon Y as a gift. We promised to play and battle together. Well now he's saying he wants it back.

HE DOSEN'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH THAT GAME MEAND TO ME.
It has gotten me out of cutting incidents. It has prevented me from ki'lling myself. It keeps me in contact with my AMAZING friends.

It's not a game to me anymore. It's a world filled with wonderful creatures who love and care about me. I can go on, and be told i'm loved by pokemon I raised and love. It's like a place I need to be. God knows what'll happen if it's gone.

Thanks you guys, but I have stopped him. In exchange for Tomodachi life (Just deleted all my data. Yay...) I get to keep Y...until he comes back. Then I recive a deleted game with god knows what Miis on it.
Fair trade don't you think. A gift given to me for a game I worked my as's off to earn enough to buy.

well dang that's really stupid, why would he ask for a gift back and you have to give him a game you worked hard to get to keep it??? Im not really sure what's going on but i really hope things will get better for you, Hannah...

Also, Tomodachi life was actually a cheaper game, and doesn't have too terribly much actual gameplay. BUT, Pokemanz does.

Wow that sucks. <:( Why don't you just tell him how you really feel and how much that game means to you? If he truely is a friend he will understand. Also, doesn't he have a pokemon game of his own if he said you can play it together w/ him? :/ It's a fu.cked up thing to give someone a gift and demand it back.

Dude, if I would ever have a situation like that with my siblings (yes, you're not the only one who got an awsome gift taken away from her) and my mom was in the flipping area when the fight broke out, she'd say that she thinks it's wrong for a dude to take it back. If they give ya a gift, that gift becomes the reciever's property. No takesies backsies. (Okay those aren't her exact words, but, when it comes to our arguments between siblings, my mom's WAY too formal for my taste.)
