While I'm not a big fan of fps games in general, I love freedom of choice, welcoming experimentation, and funny writing. That's the main reason I enjoy Portal and Borderlands.

Im not huge about them, but when they have a good story, Borderlands as stated, and are funny, like Portal and TF2, then thats when they are enjoyable. I also enjoy when the sequels have something new that makes it unique, something COD and BF seem to not do. But my fav genre of games is fighting.
