Ice Cubes: The thing you've never thought about is actually full of flaws. The ones my fridge makes look like slugs rather than cubes, aren't even clear, and melt in like 30 seconds. (I call them refridgerator terds) Why can't ice cubes actually be cubes?

Sometimes they are cubes. I love ice! I don't understand why anyone would hate it.

usually, it's interesting to know, but pure water doesn't become ice that easily, it's actually impure water that become ice, which is why ice is hardly clear as liquid water could be.

Did you see the ice episode of digging deeper? The host's dislikes about freezer ice are the same as in this pic. :O He also didn't like the flavor of the "slug" ice.

@devinland Pure water is also highly unstable and removes the copper from pipes, and can actually steal nutrients from your body if you drink it.
