*Alexander awakens after his fight w/ Rakyu to the ground shaking, as if there's a large creature walking around nearby* uuugghhhh... everything hurts.....

*An over grown lizard is poking around. It shifts some boulders to look for prey underneath*

*he shifts further into a crevice made by some rubble and boulders and is as quiet as possible*

*it finds a insect hive and starts eating. Once it's full it lumbers off, leaving the mauled hive as is. There some bugs left and they scurry about, mad & confused. Their shells are big and durable, but they aren't dangerous*

*Alexander breathes out a sigh of relief and pokes one of the bugs when it scuttles closer to him*

*It's shells is large, like a dinner plate. Armor from Rakyu's attacks?*

Alexander: your shell would make for good protection against attacks *he taps on the shell experimentally a few times*

*it feels very durable. It's fairly thick, too*

Leon: *covers Alexander's mouth from behind*

(I guess I'll hop in here!) Mist stumbles through a field, staunching a bloody wound on her side. "Freakin' monsters...." she muttered to herself. Movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention, and Mist turned to see a large lizard passing by. Just to be on the safe side, she ducks behind some boulders and waits for it to leave. After it heads away, Mist climbs atop the boulder and looks around.

leon: *still keeping his hand over alexander's mouth*

*Alexander flails and takes his shoe of and swats Leon on the head with it*

Leon: ALEX?! ITS ME LEON!! *holds head in defense*

*the bugs scuttle under a nearby rock at the sudden movement*

Alexander: why would do something like that!? you scared me!!! *sees Mist up on top of the boulders*

Leon: ow my head....

(okay I'm not gonna use para-rp style, it just looks weird in contrast to the style you guys are using)
*hears voices* ??? *hops off the boulder and starts looking around*

(it's alright if you use it shad. i use para style sometimes. half-and-half. it just depends on what i'm doing or how many ocs i have) Alexander: you scared the bugs away too! their shells could've been used as protection from attacks.....

Leon: you didnt say that in bed last week *smirks*

(Same. I guess I'll just use whichever style feels comfortable, in this case it's not para style. Maybe I'll flip back to that sometimes.)

*they aren't far away. they are just under the rock. they make chirping noises, like crickets in summer*

( @shad: alright whatever works for you) *Alexander looks at him w/ a 'wtf?' look on his face then goes to look for the bugs*

*Leon follows behind, worried bout Xavier*

*Winces at injury* "Grr. Where'd those voices come from?" *Starts checking around the boulders, trying not to step on the insects scuttling about*

*Alexander pulls one of the bugs out from under a rock* is your brother still in the real world Leon? *he can swear he hears footsteps nearby*

Leon: i hope so... we were watching the meteor shower together then all i know next is being grabbed by the neck and passing out.... but... i heard xavier scream for me....

*the bug flails it's legs, scared. it chirps and wants to be let go*

*Mist tracks down the source of the voices and spots Alexander and Leon* ! *ducks behind another boulder and cautiously peeks out from behind it*

Alexander: im sorry Leon. i hope you can get back to him as soon as possible... *he can't bring himself to possibly hurt the bug to get its shell so he lets it go and watches it scuttle away*

Leon: Vincent was with us too...

*the bugs looks at him and flick their antennae in his direction. They chirp to one another and all scuttle to their broken hive. They return with tons of old, discarded shells and leave them infront of Alexander, then they retreat under the rocks again, pulling together a new hive out of old plant bits, but they are struggling. Then need more plant matter*

Alexander: i wanna go home... *he goes to gather some twigs and dead, dry leaves for the bugs. he notices Mist and walks up to her* hey

*Mist jumps in surprise and scrambles to get up, then starts to back away* H-hi...?

Leon: me too alex *looks at mist* hey

*they happily use the plants and eventually pull together a new hive. There are hundreds of old shells for Alexander to use*

Alexander: were you watching us....? *he sifts through the shells and smiles at the bugs* thank you

Leon: *clicks his handg.un, aims it at mist*

Alexander: LEON!?! what're you doing!? put that away!!!

Leon: *looks to Alexander then mist, sighs and he puts it away*

*Mist's eyes widen at the gun* A-ah...! *turns and starts to run*

*too late, she's already running*

*the bugs chirrup happily in their new home. The shells are light, but very strong. Maybe bullet proof? The aren't smelly. To be able to be made into clothes/armor, the already dead bugs' blood/insides are like super glue. Either that or filed them into shape and turn the into like dragon scales and or chain mail*

*Alexander sighs* nice one Leon. *he starts thinking about how to fashion the scales into armor so they can get as much out of them as possible*

Leon: yup s.exist p.rick right here.... *rolls eyes* and this is why i dislike girls

Alexander: still. it's better to try and stick together here. the more people you have the less likely you are to die. right?

Leon: she isnt coming back

Alexander: you don't know that

Leon: *sighs* fine bu- *gets a image in mind, seeing both xavier and vincent tied up and gagged in a old factory*...ughn...

Alexander: i...actually know...how to get out of here....

Leon: you do?...

Alexander: yeah... but it's gunna be really hard to do.... *he begins having flashbacks to the fight he had w/ Rakyu*

leon: what is it

*a little birdy lands on a branch of a dead tree and looks them curiously, then decends and eats the innards of an opened up, dead bug that the lizard bit into*

Alexander: you have to win a dual with the master of this realm. he's inhumanly fast and really powerful.

*Alexander watches the birdy with mild disgust mingled with interest* nature works the same here as it does in the real world...

Leon: oh,...

*Mist keeps running until the wound she has makes her have to stop and breathe* Haah... *pants* /Maybe I should go back, the one without the gun seemed nice..../ *Turns around and quietly makes her way back*

leon: i got a image bout Xavier and Vincent...

*the birdy sits and picks around after that, collecting twigs*

*Alexander catches the bird and keeps it in a firm but gentle grasp* i hope they'll be ok... they're both strong individuals...

Leon: i saw them tied up and gagged...

*Mist silently walks up and hides behind another boulder, scared that she might get shot*

*it chirps in alarm and squirms, trying to escape*

Alexander: im sorry birdy *he lets it go* i really hope what youre saying turns out false Leon.

Leon: i hope so too

*the birdy flies away, scared. it disappears from sight in the sky*

*Mist accidentally kicks a small rock, causing it to be flung loudly against another boulder*

Leon: shes back...

Alexander: i hate this world. *he hears the noise* h-hello? who's there...?

Leon: *protects Alex*

*Mist peeks out again, wary for Leon's handgun* ....

Alexander: i don't need protecting Leon.

Leon: ok...

Alexander: thank you though Leon.

Leon: *nods*

..... *Mist doesn't know what to say*

*Alexander begins making some armor out the bug shells*

*Mist climbs on top of the rock she was behind and sits cross-legged*

Leon: hmmm... ( imma log off, ill email ya red )

*a mutated scorpion crawls in the distance*

*Alexander finishes one set off armor*

*Mist awkwardly fidgets with a few pebbles*

*Alexander sees the scorpion and tosses the armor to Mist* put that on... now.

*it crawls a bit closer, curious*

*Alexander remains completely still, waiting to see if the scorpion will attack*

O-ok! *puts on the armor*

*it senses the bug meat and scuttles closer. It sees them and gets into an agressive pose. Just it's pincers are over 2 feet long and are sharp enough to cut flesh. It's barbed tail is pack with pints of it's deadly venom*

*Alexander looks over at Mist* climb on top of the large boulder behind me and get behind the rock on top on top of it. be prepared to push it on top of the scorpion if i give a signal. *he picks up some of the bug meat and tosses it to the scorpion*

*Mist gets up and does what Alex asks*

*it picks at the meat and starts to feed on it. But it soon finishes and hisses at them warningly*

*he scoots back closer to the boulder and tosses the scorpion more meat*

*Mist quietly watches what's going on*

*it grabs the meat and flees*

*Alexander relaxes* whoo... alright, all clear!

*Mist smiles and hops down, then winces a little*

*it's very far away, scavanging for other bits of food*

Alexander: nice to meet you *he smiles and starts making himself a set of armor*

*about a hundred miles away a portal opens up and Zack tumbles out into Purgatory and the portal immediately closes up* Zack: oof!

Rakyu: "Well, well... Look who came to my little slice of hell.. heheh... Welcome to Purgatory!!"
*he grabs Zack by the neck and hurls him many meters away*

Zack: oww... what would do that for....? *looks sad*

"Nice to meet you, too." *Mist hauls herself back onto the boulder to be a lookout*

Rakyu: "Because I relish misery of weaker beings. Now scram. There are others here. Try n' find them. I dare you." *he flies off*

Alexader: you know that the sunlight is dangerous right?

Zack: jerk... *gets up and goes off in search of other people. on the outside he doesn't seem to be fazed by Purgatory since he's already seen dead worlds in his travels*

*Rakyu returns to his fortress. it's still covered in the aura*

*Zack continues walking through Purgatory and looks up at the sky*

*mutated vultures circle over head, watching him, incase he dies*

Zack: ew. those things look yucky. i wonder if they're loop-holes to getting out of this place... *despite his cute appearance, Zack is actually quite smart when it comes to thinking about ways out of sticky situations*

*Zack links his fingers together behind his neck and leans his neck back against them with a huff* he either wants his victims to go through an impossible trial of some sort or he MIGHT let someone go if they make a reeeally stupid and dangerous deal. but no one will ever know, because he went and disappeared. and now look at me, i'm walking around in a place between heaven and h3ll and rambling to myself like an idiot!

*Rakyu flies over head and shoots the vultures dead with his arrows. He glides down*

Zack: hallow mister *backs away*

Rakyu: "Don't give me that face. I was mistaken. I thought you were one of those arrogant, self-centered humans. But now I see that you're not. I invoke misery on humans and being who deserve it because I look at them and see nothing but foolishness. Humans always bumble about, causing problems and only caring about themselves. They complain about the tiniest things. I give them something to REALLY complain and worry about... But you. You're a Sprite. You've been put through enough already. I'm sorry. I thought you were only of those short-lived fools. You search for one to care for you. I offer my hand. I shall care for you. I was mistaken. If you want, I'll take you back to my castle and let you stay there. I shall protect you from now on."
*he offers his hand out to Zack non-threatening*

*Zack is completely shocked and looks at the ground, he reaches out slowly but pauses, afraid that Rakyu will change his mind* not all humans are fools... *he looks up at Rakyu before finally taking his hand*

Rakyu: "Precious few are any good, though..."
*he pulls Zack into a hug. He hold Zack in his arms gently and flies off to his fortress, riding the gentle winds*

*Zack closes his eyes as he feels the heat from Rakyu's body warm his own*

*he lands and enters the castle. Rakyu lays Zack in his large bed and lays next to him. He retracts his wings and cuddles Zack close to him*

*Zack buries his face in Rakyu's chest, sighing happily and feeling at peace for the first time in awhile*

*Rakyu holds him close n' drifts off to sleep for now*

*Zack is so happy that it takes him awhile to fall asleep*
