-Knuckles raises the very ground in an attack against Nexas, but the enemy still slips away to continue chasing Aria. (Knuckles gets left behind)
-Sonic then catches up to Nexas, using his signature "charms" to taunt him.
-Distracted, Nexas starts attacking Sonic until Shadow arrives for a 2-on-1 face-off... But before anything starts...
Something rams Nexas from behind...

Knuckles: *Watches Nexas speeding away from him* So thats how its going to be, is it?!
*his anger gives him strength as he leaps up...* RRRRRrrrr!.... RAHHH! *he punches the ground, causing an earthquake as large, pointed pieces of earth come at Nexas, strait for him*
Nexas: ?!! *He tries to leap above it, but is struck in the back, flung down to the ground, dragging up earth as he eventually slows down to a stop, but he sits up immediately...*
HA! I haven't been been hit that hard in a long, LONG time!
Its so unfortunate that I can't REPAY you for it right now!
Knuckles: Rrrgh...HEY!
*suddenly surprized as Nexas disappears into thin air*
WHAT?!
Nexas: HAHAHAHAHAA! *he disappears as his laugh echoes, reappearing at a blinding speed to continue the chase, leaving Knuckles in his dust*
Sonic: *catches up to Nexas now that Knuckles is out of the way* Hey, "Dark Monster"! Wait up!
Nexas: Would you stop calling me that!?... *calmer* You're a speedy RAT aren't you? (more)

Sonic: Hey! I'm a hedgehog, got it?!
Nexas: A testy one at that.
Sonic: How 'bout you slow down and tell us who you are-
Nexas: *charges ahead* Ha! I don't have time to play with rats... ITS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!
Sonic: HEY, we're not finishing talking yet!
Nexas: I'm done with you! Out of my way!
Sonic: HEYYY! *signature look* What? 'Scared I'm going to be too much of a challenge?
Nexas: *that poked a nerve... he softly growls* ...
*he suddenly turns around to come at Sonic in an attack* YOU PEST!
*He tries to strike Sonic, but he's too fast*
Stand still so I can k!ll you!
Sonic: Sheesh! How slow can you be?!
Nexas: NGHH... *That punched a nerve, he tries to attack again, but again, Sonic is too fast for him*
Sonic: You're too slow!!
Nexas: - *he suddenly senses a surprize attack from above, reacting to block it with a steel-hard claw* !...

Nexas: What!? *realization* SHADOW...
Shadow: Thats right! I've got a score to settle...
Sonic: Hey Shadow, you know this guy?
Shadow: I know he's going to regret what he did the last time we met!
Sonic: Then lets take him out!
Nexas: I'd like to see you try!... You weaklings, I'll tear you apart!... hm... *he is so focused on their first move that he doesn't realize until it hits him... something suddenly rams him from behind* GAHHH!
Sonic: Was that...?
Shadow: Its the girl...
