I was playing Platinum for the first time and I had reached Giratina in the Distortion world. I didn't want to use my Master Ball quite yet but I only had five normal pokeballs and the assorted pokeballs I found throughout the game. I decided to just try out a pokeball for kicks, sort of in remembrance to when I caught Moltres in a pokeball in Red version. Somehow, It actually worked...
