Mask of Passage by Shadoma

Little is known of the origins of this bizarre headwear, but it seems to be crafted in an attempt by humans of the Middle Ages to reach the Afterplane. The attempts were obviously failures, as those who tried were later found crushed and asphixiated underground. Crafted from casketwood and burial shrouds, this macabre mask allows the wearer to pass through solid objects for a short time such as walls and floors. The wearer can even brave through harsh environments, such as sandstorms.

Thamk you, sir. This is the first painting I've done since Tokyo in Tulsa (best weekend EVAR), so I have had some strokes of inspiration.
