re: yes actually rytmik is a very versatile program for songwriting. i only own the retrobits edition as i do not have the funds to pay for any more. but ive assessed that if youre looking for a basic soundset to use, the original is definitely the way to go. the newer ones boast the ability to change individual count a different instrument in the same category but i seriously dont think there is a need to have more than 16 tracks running at the same time. the most ive used at once was about 10 tracks and THAT was seriously pushing it. i only have experience with retrobits so i can say that the sounds from it are a bit difficult to use. i would reccomend starting with the original to get used to songwriting. id like to add to that, the interface, at first will be intimidating, but once you grasp what everything does, the tools soon become gifts from god. if you would like, i can teach you how to use it efficently but im going to be working until summer ends.

i made the mistake of buying it and its horrible. it does its job well, but the buyer is under the impression that its a decent songwriting program. but that is a lie. loops only go up to sixteen full measures. and thats IT.
rytmik has sixteen tracks and it caps at i think 164 measures.-a lot of space to put music-its definitely worth buying, at least in my opinion. as far as petit computer goes, it looks like a decent programming app. i imagine the language is easy and very object-oriented and i myself was interested in buying it too, but i have one critical problem with it. that is that i would be typing using the on-screen keyboard. i would k!ll my 3ds screen if i got it. and that is simply unacceptable. otherwise i woukd have already bought it.
i definitely reccomend rytmik. that is easily worth your money as it is easily worth mine.
