I was just about to make a rant about this exact subject! What's going on with this place?

Well, i guess i cant make a new one, like no one notices my paintings... no one can see my art cause i dont have a 3DS, and everytime i mess up i just quit... i guess im just a terrible artist i guess...

I dont get noticed on colours hardly ( a few paintings with 1 silver star) even one of my watchers threw a hissy fit when i give my opinion on one of drawings.

It takes forever to draw sometimes

Hey! It's not like it's our fault that we don't spend our lives drawing on Colours3D, we do have lives you know. People can just need breaks! There's nothing to be all "What the heck" about, it's just human nature. We're only human, so sure we get depressed! Sometimes our characters and art can bring back bad memories, some in which we can't handle emotionally. I see that now, the way that our own imagination can hurt us, but there is nothing wrong with being ourselves. So please don't mock the poor people who have this stress. I'm sure if you truly cared for your art, that you would understand what it feels like; to care. Nothing is wrong with Colours3D, or anyone, but it is the truth of art.

Please try to see what I am seeing, because it is harmfull to the people you just offended. We are all human, I'm sure you've all been sad. Everybody has had that one part in their life where they can't handle their emotions, so please don't make it hard for others by complaining.

Its called summertime depression, its quite common and mine usually peaks every other week. it happens to a lot of people because usually routines such as school and other stuff are gone

I noticed that with the 'New Paintings' too. Like, I'll look there after two hours, and all of the same paintings are there.

Yeah. It has been quiet in the gallery at times these days. I guess people are usually doing other things outside of Colors in the summertime. [plus those who left due to emotions.] /; T

And a lot of things could happen (like my grandmother is keeping care of me for nearly two weeks). And peoples friends or family may have gotten sho.t because I see alot of it on the news now. (I get the Vancover news, so it's like 8O percent sho.ttings/sta.bings, 1O percent rain complaints and 1O percent praise for the Canucks, so I don't know about anywhere else.)

I'm going to assume the abscenses are due to summer vacation. As for the 'depression', haven't you made the link in between artists and mental illness yet?? Most of it isn't actual depression, more psychosis of a sort, a yearning for reaction, for drama. Of course you can't say anything about it because there's always the chance they really ARE depressed... but yeah.

Is this the time for a revolution? Or perhaps when people hear 'revolution' they'll freak out...

To be honest, the only people are who are active in my feed are Lofty and you. And rarely TCG and Victor S.

Doesn't it usually happen around this time every year? It's usually around evening time though when things begin to pick up a bit.

Two of my friends are haveing problems.I have this unatural ability to be happy a long time.Idk whats going on.

I was wondering the same thing! My friend nearly quit! I was barely able to help her stay. But then @Loftylioness, @Niyu <^u^> and others are having some depression thing. Idk what's going on.

I only post stuff when I need my art elsewhere to post nowadays. Too much effort and not enough acknowledgement /uvu

It's sad when people have depression problems and there's nothing you can do to help them. ;-;

People are mad, people are sad. I try to be pleasant, but we all know how that turns out. Either way, when I do get a DA I'll only use colors socially.

The only reason why I was gone for long periods of time were caused from fustration with the scratches on my 3ds and of course, tumblr ._. Also just procrastination.... Lots of procrastination.

alot of people i know r just on vacation. other artists find more advanced programs to draw on. i was multiple programs for art but i draw on here jus 4 fun ^w^

Lol ive been playing minecraft :p Also, maybe cause the more people who leave, the less feedback people get, the less motivation they have. Cause many on here only like to comment on the most popular posts, yet I dont post comments much altogether xD but im working on it.

I've noticed that pattern as well, though it was mostly just everyone falling depressed.
As for leaving, that never happens. The community stops EVERYONE from doing so if they announce their leave.

Ive had better things to do than fiddle around with art.

Inacitve: Family issues, Don't draw at mass produce, or they lost their internet (this has happened to me)
Leaving: Sick of the colors community
Depressed/Leaving: Attention seeking, or issues.
Just a couple of sugestions of what maybe causing this.
Not 100 precent accuret, but as close as it gets. :) And I get where you coming from.
