Voltaire is a son of Satan and was ordered to turn Karasu and the rest of her kind into fallen angels. but she is a demon/angel hybrid and she chooses to either become a full angel or an all powerful combined demon and angel hybrid thing xD
and Voltaire decides to delay the transformation by dissecting and studying her because of his untamed fascination w/ hybrids.
