I know, right! And for coloring. You can color underneath things you've already colored, so it won't overlap! It's pretty much instinct for me to do that, and if enough of my layers are in use to where I can't do that, I sacrifice them to be able to.

Yeah, we take art for nine weeks each in our semesters. Some people have it first semester, some second, others third or fourth. My teacher's rad, I want to have her for eighth grade art : : : : )
She teaches us a bit of realism for humans (haha i suck at it tho) how to recreate something in bigger/smaller size using a grid, etc.

I sorta am self-taught, I do a lot of examining other people's art and seeing how they do an effect. Then I adapt and teach it to myself.
