:3 Nice style, and good lighting. What's under his eyes though? I'd say paint at first, but it bubbles out as an object.

The markings under his eyes are tatoos that constitute the religious order he belongs to. They're a bit bubbly because of the type of ink used as well as the inflamed skin.
