"After finding the map, the heroes set of on their adventure" Wendy paused to turn the page, showing the colourful pictures to the children that sat on the floor around her, eager to hear the next part of the story. "One two three four five six! Six heroes!" a little boy announced pointing at six small simple figures on the page. Wendy nodded. "That's right. So the six set out across the land, finding the keys one by one. Soon they had them all" she paused and turned the page "Opening the magic gateway, they made their way to the End. While four of the heroes battled the evil king's minions, the other two took on the ruler himself. But, he was too powerful" the old witch paused again, slowly turning the page. Some of the children gasped, others edged closer. Sitting across from them, with her back against a bookshelf, Carina was also listening in. "Just as the evil king was about to win, the heroes' new friend defeated him. With the ruler gone, peace and happiness returned. The end"

With that, Wendy closed the book. The children cheered and clapped. "I wonder who the friend was?" a young girl asked. Hearing this, Carina glanced over at Sage who'd heard her too, a small smile on his face. "Will the bad guy ever come back?" a boy asked as the children stood up. "Nope. He's gone for good" Carina answered, getting on her feet. "How do you know?" he asked "Now that would be telling" Carina said with a wink. The boy's smile widened, a twinkle in his eyes. Carina put a finger to her lips. The boy nodded and ran to join his friends as they followed Wendy down the tower's stone stairs.
"Wow, Wendy couldn't have timed the story choice any better" Endie said as he came up from the back of the library, Boom in tow. "What do you mean?" Eba asked, her white head poking out from behind a large bookcase. "It's been a year today since you know what" he answered carefully, conscious of others that may've been listening. Sage whistled "A whole year huh? It seems like only yesterday"

Sage said, then glanced down at the scar on his chest. Carina was leaning against the wall near one of the four balconies. "A full year. It's hard to believe" she said, more so herself as she looked out at the world, that was once again at peace.

Much had changed over the past year. After Enderon fell, the End was freed as a whole. Conflict between it and the Overworld was largely reduced. In the Overworld itself, Notch and Herobrine had travelled all over, telling as many as possible about the past events in an attempt for Herobrine to regain their trust. Sage had left the End with Eva and the others, no questions asked. From then on, they lived in Witherville. Life was almost perfect.

Nothing lasts forever.

With cloak and shadows flaring slightly behind him, Soul made his way down the corridor. The ender crystals that jutted out of the walls lit the way, emiting an eerie purple glow. Making a right turn, Soul entered a room which was a makeshift labratory. At the far end of the room there were two tables. He walked over to the smaller of the two, lifting a glass bottle, inspecting it's liquid contents. "Perfect" he said and put it on a nearby shelf. Next he reached for a strange crystal container. Grabbing it with both hands, he focused directly on it. Seconds later his shoulders drooped. He'd released all the extra energy he'd gathered over the past while. Soul then put an ender pearl with a cord stringed through one end and put it into the container and placed it down. After about a minute, he lifted it out. The pearl was now a deep purple. Ender essence swirled at it's centre like a hurricane. A smirk spread across Soul's face. It was finally ready.

Soul advanced to the larger table. On it lay a stone cold body. He placed the ender pearl on it's chest. The pearl began to glow as energy emited in waves from it's centre and across the body, slowly reversing death's effects. Some time later, the body's chest began to rise and fall as it's heartbeat began to steady it's rate. "It's good to have you back" Soul began. Suddenly as the last of the waves went over the body's head, it's eyes flashed open. "Master"
