No matter what, no one deserves to be hated on... People with good character will forgive him if he's done wrong and if he realizes his wrong he'll change his ways too. Revenge on him like that... just leads to an endless cycle.

...That actually was helpful. Your right, taking revenge on someone isn't right. Especially with the insults these guys made.
...Maybe I should do something about it.
