With a short sigh the man looked down at the corpse in front of him. Slowly he closed the man´s eyes, turning around to leave again. The blood that spladdered onto his coat let off an aggravating smell. The a.ssa.ssin covered his nose with the cloak he was wearing, then he left the room through the windom, landing on the ground silently. He started walking, hearing the screams of the maids that entered the crime scene at the moment he disappeared into the night again.
(sorry for the long post ;w; )

(I like long posts. You have seen my design before. Red turtleneck, long blonde hair, green and purple eyes. That one ^v^)

She sniffed the air, making sure that the angry mob that had chased her were gone. There were some of them lingering, so she quietly climbed a tree, hopping from one branch to the next to make her escape. She curled her long tail around her, keeping it from catching on anything.

The young man looked at his hand. Some of his blood was in the mix too. Apparently the guy stabbed him into a vein. His shoulder was bleeding heavily, the pain stung through his right arm. Slowly he put his dagger into the holding on his belt again, then he pressed his hand against the wound to stop the bleeding a bit.
"Ah... he´ll get mad at me again for messing up", he mumbled, not noticing that he was coming closer to someone in the nightly forest. Hopefully he just wouldn´t run into any other people.

As she continued through the trees, she noticed the coppery scent she knew too well. "...Blo.od?" Did one of the foolish humans hurt themselves?
She followed the scent, leaving her origional path to find the source. If it was a mystical creature, she could bring it to full health, then ask to at least look human. She was close too.

A noise to his left let him wince for a second, then he took a quick step to the side, hiding himself in the shadows of the night. His black cloak covered the pale skin on his arms as a few people walked past, obviously on the way back to their town. The man stared at them with his red eyes as they disappeared behind some trees again. With a relieved sigh he leaned ontothe tree, looking at his shoulder again. This should better get treated soon.

She was close now, nearly on top of the scent now. She stopped, looking down and spotting a shape that like a man. It seemed that a group of the humans that had been chasing her had passed by, that much her nose told her. She started quietly climbing down, her dual eyes glowing in the darkness brightly.
"...Do you need help...?"

Out of mere reaction the man turned around quickly, the black cloak moving behind him like a shadow. In the next moment the blade of a knife was placed right in front of her throat, ready to cut it any time. Two gleaming, red eyes stared directly into hers, but then the intense glare of the killer became softer again, before he took down the weapon and just turned around to start walking again. It wasn´t good to get other people involved. Especially when they weren´t human.

She blinked for a moment before following him with her arms crossed. "So, no apology? Jeez, you're almost as bad as the townspeople. So... Who did you ki.ll?" Her tail uncurled from her waist, waving behind her.

The strsnger sighed for a second. Apparently she wasn´t on good foot with the villagers, but that didn´t mean she couldn´t be one of his next targets. What did it matter anyway? His left hand gripped the other shoulder tightly. One of his fingers touched the strange stone that was embedded to his flesh right there. He stopped, looking up for a second. This could be it. Without that thing, he would be able to just go.
The a.ssa.ssin took out one of his daggers and stared at the blank steel for a second.

The girl groaned. "Dude, if you're now having the thought of ki.lling me, go right ahead. If you don't, I'll probably get tor.tured when the humans finally find me." She glanced behind her.
"And if not, I'll be on the run from vampires. Either way, I die single." She went to grumbling, her large blue ears twitching.

"...The duke", the man simply answered as he raised the knife and turned it around so it pointed directly towards his shoulder.
"I killed the duke." With that he simply stabbed the knife into his shoulder, enlarging the wound. With a turn of the blade a strange, slightly glowing stone fell out and landed on the ground. The man pulled out the dagger again, blood sputtering to the ground. He gasped shortly, then he put back the weapon, picked up the stone and threw it away across the forest.

"Y- Y-..." Her eyes widened before she ran over to him. "YOU MUST BE CRAZY! At this point, your arm will never heal! That's it, you're coming with me! Someone needs to patch that wound up before it gets infected. Come on, I have a place for you to hide until it's healed." She grabbed onto the wrist of his arm that wasn't wounded and started leading him somewhere with a strong grip.
(pffft.)

With a slightly surprised face he just looked at her for a second before he stumbled across the path right behind her. His wounded arm left a small trail of blood behind as they went on. The young man didn´t say anything as he followed her for a while.
"Who are you", he then bluntly asked, looking at her with the same expression as ever.

"Fox. Fox Tailen." She smiled lightly. "Don't bother asking what I am, I don't know." She lead him to a cave entrance at the base of a hidden cliff. She lead him inside, grabbing a stick by the entrance and slashing it against the stone. The friction caused the stick to catch fire, turning it into a torch. "In here."
She walked in with him, gathering some sticks and lighting them, making a campfire. "Humans never come this deep into the forest unless they wish to die. You will be safe here."
She walked toward a crack in the wall, sniffing and reaching a hand in to rummage inside it.

"Is it that dangerous?" he asked as he looked up again, pressing his hand on the wound again. Maybe there were people like that cat-guy around here. Or rather demons like those from Heresy.
The young man looked around for a second. There really was something around, that much was sure.

She nodded. "Yep. You have a few vampires around, as well as 3 different types of he.ll hounds. Did you know there were 3 different types? Most people don't." She perked up when she found what she was looking for.
She pulled her arm out, pulling some herbs out as well. Comfrey roots and Chervil leaves. She went to the back and put them in a mixing bowl and a stick to ground them with.

The young man just silently shook his head, then he leaned onto the stonewall of the cave.
"I just knew there were dragons", he mumbled silently as he looked out into the night again. Yes, dragons. Like the one he met a few years ago.

Fox tilted her head a bit. "Funny. Once I stumbled on a small gathering of dragons. I had to run quickly, one of the smaller ones wanted to dissect me." She walked back over to him, holding the mixing bowl, which now held a strange smelling pulp. "Now hold still, this may sting. Depends on how well you adjust to pain." She took a look at the wound. "On second thought... We need to clean the wound first. I'll be back. Ignore any sounds you hear. One type of hound only attacks those who pay attention to it. Be back soon."
She grabbed some cloth near the cave opening before running quite fast into the forest.

He just looked at her running out, then he stared into the fire for a second.
"Not like Élren", he whispered as he leaned his head onto the cold stonewall. This dragon was rather... nice.

She ran to a stream nearby, dipping the cloth into the cool water. "This is aukward. I haven't shared my den in forever. Not since..." She shook her head, getting up and wringing out the cloth. She then turned and started running back, then froze for a second. Her eyes widened, then she bolted for the cave, her ears back.
She didn't even realize that the stream was so close to that place she used to love. She quickly went inside the cave.

As he heard the sound of her feet nearby, he looked up again, his red eyes piercing through the night. Again he didn´t say anything, he just looked at her with a face that somehow looked... lost.
(I think I´m going to enter Élren too ewe)

(Go ahead! X3 And if Ivory shows up, Fox will freak)

"S-sorry. Bad memories." She came over and started cleaning the wound. When she was done, she put the pulp on the wound and wrapped it with cloth. "You may have to stay here awhile. The medicine and bandages need to be changed daily, or there is a chance of infection."

(Then I´m going to get him ewe)

The man just looked at the bandages for a second, then he bowed his head slightly. "Thank you."

In another part of the forest, not too far away, someone was just wandering around. He seemed to not really know where he was, so he just took a random turn to the left as he came to a furcation in the path.
"Uuuhhh... where am I?"

She smiled back. "No problem! A little company is a lot better than being hunted by practically everything that sees me." She shrugged a bit.

(sorry for the browser-post, but i gtg shower rn. brb in about half an hour o3o)
"Sounds familiar", the young man mumbled as he sat down closer to the fire.

"Uh, is anyone around here?", the stranger called out, his long ears twitching for a second. How did he get here in the first place? Dimensional shifts again? "Ah... This is getting so confusing..."

(That's okay. Gives me time to work on ur pic.)

"Hm? How so?" She sat down next to him, blinking her dual-colored eyes in curiosity.

A wolf made of stone with molten-like spots on him watched the stranger from between the trees. His yellow eyes glowed brighter than the magma seeping from the spots on his body.
He was a He.ll Hound, but not just any He.ll Hound. He was a pack leader.

(Yai, I´m back already ewe)
"Uh... I´m just used to being hunted", he replied, leaning back on his not wounded arm.

"Eeeehmmm... Somehow it smells burnt in here..." The man took a step back again, his paw touching the roots of a tree. The long tail was swaying from one side to the other. This wasn´t the kind of atmosphere he was used to. "Lady Ira? Va-chan? Isanybody here?"

(well, wb! I finished the red sketch lines and I'm working on the actual lines. :3)

"Oh. We're in the same boat then." Her tail tip flicked softly, before she spoke again. "I have been meaning to ask you something..."

The hound walked closer. "Greetings feline-like creature. What brings you to my territory?" He spoke, but his jaws did not move.

The young man looked at her, simply waiting for her question. Hopefully it wouldn´t be something that would take too long to explain.

With a scared jump the cat was right next to one of the other trees, his tail all fluffed up. "U-uh, h-hi I guess", he stuttered, looking at the hound. "I´m sorry mister, I, uh, just walked in here by accident. I don´t know how I got here myself."

I may be off soon though cuz I need to get up early. It´s almost past midnight where I live XD)

"Um... What's a Duke?" She looked completely confused.

"No need to be apologetic, young one." The hound waved its tail slightly.

The young man blinked shortly, looking at her with a slightly questioning face. "Uh... A duke is aperson that holds a lot of power in a country from within his estate. I guess..."

The person just sighed relieved, smiling at the hound. "I´m glad I´ve met you and not some humans. Not that I don´t like them, but they are so prejudiced against people like me." He sighed for a second, looking up again. "Could you, by any chance, tell me where I am right now?"

"Oh oka-" She froze up. "...ohjeezihopei'mnotblaimedforthis." She let out an aukward laugh.

"You are on the north-eastern end of the forest, the town is just a ways down the right path. The left one takes you a bit deeper, but it isn't safe. It hasn't been used in a long time, so here and there the path dissapears completely." The hound dipped his head before speaking again. "If you spot a girl with green and purple eyes, give her my respects."
And with that, he left.

"I think I made pretty clear it was me... After all I left the scale and everything." The young man stared at the fire as he sighed shortly.

With a confused face the stranger just looked at the hound for a second, then he smiled again. "Will do. Thank you again, Sir." He started to walk down the path. Left sounded good. At least for someone like him.
