I think this speaks for the majority of the new submissions to the Colors! 3d Gallery. People really need to be unique and create things that are meaningful! :)

We can post whatever we want. We bought this game. We made an account. We paint whatever and if you have a problem, don't look at it and leave.

Yup (this comes from an artist that is getting deppressed by this app. ) i give creds to original when i trace and its not to get likes when i do its to spred a drawing from somewhere else so yeah i agree non cred f------ people take real artist out and give them depression

ShawneyBaloney, people DO have a right to do whatever they want, I'm simply commenting on the derivitive nature of the majority of the work in the Gallery. Just because people can do whatever they want doesn't mean it's right to leave original artists uncredited! I love the Gallery and all its' creative potential! :)

Well your right. I can't disagree. Tracers need to give original credit. But I don't understand how people use other peoples art and trace it. I don't know how to do it, and I don't intend to, but how do people do it?

You can upload a picture/ take a picture and set it as the canvas background... then you just trace over it! It's hidden somewhere in the options... :P

That's why I'm driven to look extra hard for original artists! I've seen that pre-colors3d was in a better state by browsing the site. Good point.

While artistic merit is a matter of opinion and there for is and will always be subjective, I do agree that the over saturation of certain concepts are annoying. Regardless, dealing with such annoyances with quiet dignity is what separates the Gandis from the Hitlers.

There's a little bit more than "quiet dignity" separating Gandhis from Hitlers. I didn't attack anyone, I'm simply using humour to point out the the high concentration of certain kinds of "artwork" within the Gallery. That's how comedy works. :)
