@Usagi-chan: What's your backstory?
Dawn: I was born in Germany in Berlin, but my father (from Germany) was not happy, because he had wanted a son. He ignored me during my childhood, and he made me to do chores that were impossible for little girls. My mother was born in Japan, and she had moved to Germany with father for a better life. She was overjoyed when I was born. She loved me and played with me everyday... But then one day she grew ill. (cont. in comm.)

She was too weak to leave bed, so I came into her room everyday and read stories with her after school. One day, after school (I was in 7th grade), when I went to her room, she was gone. There was a note in her place:
"Dawn:
You have made my days bright and happy since the day you were born. You are a very happy, smart girl. You probably already have figured out that I have passed on. I have one wish for you now: please, stay happy, no matter how dark days may get. You deserve to be happy, no matter what.
Love, Mom"
After I read the note, I sat in silence, and locked myself in my room. I only came out to go to school and to eat and shower. I stayed secluded until after college. An offer from an art sudio came up. I drew manga, to pass time. The studio had loved my work, and wished to hire me. The studio was in Japan, and I saw it as a chance to escape my horrible father. He laughed when I told him about the job. He threw all my clothes in suitcases, and even paid for my flight.

He was very happy to see me leave. And I was happy to leave. I now make 50 dollars for every manga series I illustrate, making 7 hundred dollars a week.
