Also because I feel like it: Text-passage.
The wound in his stomach hurt, yet he didn´t even stumble. He just looked down at the massacre in front of him.
"...They started it", he silently said as the woman behind him stepped up towards him.
"Our job is to take out single persons, not to slaughter everybody in a building. You know what that means."
The a.ssa.ssin closed his eyes for a second. The next thing he could feel was a hard kick right to the wound he received during the battle. The young man gasped, falling onto his knees.
"I´ll be off again. And you better come back too soon, or our punishment will get even worse, bast.ard."
He just nodded, standing up again. The pulsing pain that stung through the wounded area made him throw up a bit of blood. He looked down at his hand. Was that his blood or that of the people he just killed? But... did that really matter at all?
The wind blew through the room, leaving behind only the smell of blood and death.
