yes and no.
your identity will most likely be lost in time but as a piece of an evolving society you are part of evolution.
personally i know it won't matter to most people so while i'm alive i'll try to support the evolution of humanity, i'll support anything that helps humanity become better and smarter, i'll live and try to be as happy as possible and to make those who i care about happy as well.
