I love it! It seems so smooth and the shading/lighting is perfect. The fire doesn't look awkward at all. And the background lools like the inside of a volcano or a cave. It's amazing! :D

What are you talking about? This is freaking epic! I don't think anything looks awkward about this, except the shape of the head, it looks slightly weird IMO, but not much. The rest is perfect! The fire looks very pastel-ish and I love that. The background looks like it's painted with colors. The lighting is also perfect. I love how the light from his fire reflect on his belly. Also, I didn't know that he had a snake-like tongue like Natok's! Honestly, this pic is almost perfect. It's almost like I wanna print it and frame it.

Just the shape of the muzzle, how big the eyes are, and how small the spikes on his cheek are. But those are just nitpicks anyway. I actually like the background and how simple it is. It really reminds me of the background from the lava levels in Kirby's Dream Land 3, because they also look painted. Also, I don't care that this doesn't have 3D, because I wouldn't be able to see it anyway since I'm on my Wii U. I'm still really impressed by this drawing. You should draw like this more often! Without outlines and with advanced lighting techniques!

@PSTP Lol I've used this technique before. You know with those creature paintings and that best friend painting. The reason I don't use it that often is because it takes quite a lot of work and you can easily mess it up. I'm just too lazy to use this technique on every painting xD Also it's harder to add 3D for me when I use this technique.

I know you have, but you've never made it look this good before! That's why I'm impressed!
