At least you could have caught that shiny, I playing my Pokemon Platinum and I didn't have any pokeballs at the time. I found a shiny Shinx and stared at it at good ten minutes before rage quitted.

This never actually happend to me. I did catch a shiny Pancham after I made this though. It was easy enough.

When I first played Platinum, I never knew the value of Shiny Pokemon. One time I found a shiny Geodude by sheer luck, and I k!lled it... I was so dumb...
