the trains were going funny this morning and I had to wait at the station for a while, so I began drawing Piccolo from memory (that's why the proportions are off, I couldn't remember all details). Dragon Ball was the first anime I ever watched and Piccolo was my first favourite character at all. I still love him so much, especially his shoulder pads :D

in case you wonder - I tested ear helices in the upper right corner... and those tiny vertical and horizontal lines do not show up on my DS screen .... :/

this is the only anime i've ever watched, and it was only a few episodes (could never quite get into it, not my thing). with that said, despite not being exactly fond of anime, you did a good job, especially with it being from memory. looks just like him from what i can recall. :)

thank you :) - if you seriously want to get into anime, better not start with dragonball or sailormoon or naruto. Better watch a Miyazaki movie or Ghost in the Shell. I have the feeling that extremely popular series (popular amongst kids) do always split people in those who like anime and those who can't stand a lot of infantile humor and masks of extreme facial expression
