I like to draw from all parts of the animal kingdom, excluding insects (sorry guys). Dragons and birds are my favorite to draw. Dogs are boring. But easy. XD

I typically study from photos, taxidermy or back yard birds. Sometimes I'll study from the local museum because they have birds of prey there.

Baby (and I mean BABY) pidgeons may not LOOK too appealing, but their peeeps are ADORABLE ASDGKKL

You should see a geon' with most feathers, but lacks flights and still has down. They're BEAUTIOUS, AND THEY STILL HAVE THE PEEPASDGJKL

XD The spotty ones aren't a seperate species/breed, it's actually a rare gene. So is the "plum" coloring. eue

XD I love owls too, but have first hand knowledge on jions. My neighbor has a PLUM SPECKLED ONE. His/her (it's young but daaw I love it) name is Freckles.. XD

XD Cute. My friend and I (before she moved) LOVED birds, and everytime her cat caught a bird (be it Mourning Dove or California Quail) we would bury it. Too bad we couldn't have a viking-style funeral in her pond. XP Also, she had a dead barred owl (dumb invasive birds. No matter how much I love owls, Barred owls get on my nerves because they're a huge reason why the Spotted is going exctinct) and was going to get it taxidermied (is that a word?) and she let me pet it before putting it in the freezer. (We're strange, to say the least. XD)
