The only reason you just get coins is because your in first.

Extra tip: If you didn't know, you can hold an item like a banana or a shell to block from other shells by holding the item button.

Fun Fact: If you press the item button without an item, it will honk a horn. Each character has a different sound for it!

@MisterM: It´s true that I´m always on the first, but you don´t need to tell me how to handle other items. ;) But sometimes I don´t get anything else than a coin, so I can´t use anything else than a coin - and all the other guys can shoot with their red shells, blue shells, use shortcuts with mushrooms etc, and I´m just like "F*ck u, random item" -.-

i havn't been playing world wide latley, so i wouldn't know x3 the Ai races end so quickly.

Playing world wide was kinda funny. As I first joined in I was wondering why it was so easy to win, because I almost won every race. But now after reaching 2000 points I realized that all the hardcore players are already playing in other spheres and now I also joined it... Now I´m wondering why my bike is still working. xD
