"But why the subspecies, and not the original?" Because the original doesn't have the red highlights, and I like how the red and black go good together. The crown sized ones are super impressive in size. Fun to draw too!

ooh! O,O Loved the color scheme and armor design, the challenging boss fight, not quite as -inviting- Not so bad once you've got the basic action flow down. Anyway, looking forward to seeing Gravy again in MH4U next year :D

Yeah, not too hard. Just, I don't like fighting Gravy with anything that doesn't have either bow or gun in it's name. Actually: bow, bowgun and gunlance definitely cut 'em a new one :D

Right, forgot to mention: If going with gunlance, mainly want to use shellings, and have <GuardIncrease> active. Well, not sure 'bout your plans, but when MH4U is out, I might exchange friend codes with people who want online multiplayer. (maybe...)
