well, the shoulders and chest is fine. The jaw/chin is a bit skewed. Straighten the face/ head. Maybe work on more shading. A more striking contrast between light and shadows. Maybe some more detail in the eyes, since they say eyes are the window to the soul. Perhaps more character/expression in them. The outlining is sketchy. IDK if that is just your style. It's fine, unless you want defining, accurate, straight outlines. Not shaky outlines. Over all, it is a great first painting! You'll do great. :3
I see you referenced a picture. That can be useful for accuracy in the character design, but memtion it in your description to show you didn't trace it. People don't really like tracers here. /I'm not saying you trace, just avoid using "import photo" tool as much as possible/ People love original art here, escpecially of anime or video game characters :3
Also, don't forget you have multiple layers. Put the coloring on the layer behind the outline, then combine the color to the out line. You can drag layers together, delete layers, and shuffle layers. try it out :3
