The Nest

Many years after the humans went extinct, the dragons started to rule over the land. There were IceDragons, WaterDragons, FireDragons, RapterDragons, SkyDragons, and even the rare FeatheredDragons.
Even Though they all look diffrent they all follow the same code. TheCodeOfSouls. And with this code, lies the protectors, SoulGuardians. But their just stories for hatchlings. Right?
Anyway, there are different kingdoms in the land of dragons. (Dragolia) There are:
Forests - RapterDragons
SnowyMountans - IceDragons
OceanIslands - WaterDragons
FloatingIslands - SkyDragons&FeatheredDragons
ScourchedLands - FireDragons
TheDesert - RapterDragons&FireDragons
TheSwamp - WaterDragons&RapterDragons
There's the cliffs... but no one lives there.
There's lots of areas, but we're looking at a family of SkyDragons. Just a normal family. Four SkyDragons. Mother, Father, and two sons.

"Ma? Da? Can we go with you this time?" Asked Vin. Vin is the Dark Turqoise dragon with purpple wings. "Sorry Vin. Not this time. You aren't old enough yet." Said Vin's Father, Aren. Aren is the dark blue dragon. "Sorry Vin. Your father's right." Said Vin's mother, Cal. She is the light blue dragon. "Ugh... I know. I just really want to go with you guys..." Vin said sadly. Vins brother, Zel, then spoke up. "Well you're gonna have to wait for a little while before then. Now please be quiet." He said. Zel is the dark green dragon.
The Family is currently at their nest in the FloatingIslands. It's high up on a SkyMountan. Their cave led to an amazing view of a small lake on their island, and if you look further out, you could see other islands in the distence.
"Ok. Vin, Zel, we'll be back just... don't try to fly on your oun yet." Said Cal. Vin then looked to his father with puppy eyes. "No Vin. No ledging. You know you shouldn't practice if we aren't here."

Vin sighed sadly and waved his parents off. It was almost dawn, and that ment they had to sleep soon. SkyDragons are nocturnal, as their eyes aren't made for the light above the clouds.
"Come on Vin. We need to go to sleep." Said Zel. He was laying diwn in the nest. "Coming." Said Vin. Vin ran over to lay down in the nest. Once he did he wispered to Zel. "Hey Zel?" He said. "What now" Zel responded, eyes closed. "Can I tell you a story?" "Depends on what it's about." Zel had a good idea of what Vin was about to say. "The
SoulGuardi-oof!" Zel just slapped him in the back of the head with a wing. "No more flippin stories about those idiots. I'm sick of hearing them." he said. Vin just huffed slightly and layed back down.
Five minutes later, right after Vin went to sleep, he felt a strange sensation in the back of his mind. He was awoken by the sudden gusts of wind rushing past him. He opened his eyes. He was falling.
