well, it's easy to understand - if you follow me it should be because you like my paintings and want to see more, obviously you want something from me and i want something in return, likes and/or comments, feedback and support.
like a friendship, you get something but for it to work you must give something in return.
most of my followers pay no attention to my art and yet they follow me, i don't like that, it is much nicer when there is interaction, when you know those people actually care to see what i have to show.
if they don't care, why follow?
in the end it's just a number, only a certain ammount will show appreciation and in return be appreciated.
