I'm uploading this page of sketches before I got it filled up because my 3DS is rapidly dying, and I'm not sure how much longer it'll last. Please tell me if you've heard of this problem and know how to fix it. I'm not getting a new DS.
So yesterday it froze while I was using it, and I tried to reset it, but it wouldn't come back on. Only the blue power button would, and maybe the screens would turn on, but they'd stay completely black.

I asked my sister about it, and my sister's DS has done the not turning on part before, but it's fine now. She told me to plug it in. So I did, it worked, but now if I shut my DS while it's away from the charger the screams will go completely black. And sometimes it'll just freeze and not start up again. And now it's getting worse, sometimes my DS won't start up when it IS plugged in. My sis didn't have those problems.
So is the battery quitting on something? Any help would be greatly appreciated, and I'll see if I can think of a way to repay you if you can tell me what's wrong and how to fix it.
