they arent paranoid...but they are androids
they were both invented by Xavair....however only Marcus is in active use, Amy has been in storage for 8 years.
there was an...incident in her priority software so she was put into storage until Xavair could fix it [but he doesn't want to- hence 8 years]
instead he started building other androids, eventually ending up with marcus :33
