^That's okay. :) It actually was a joke when I first drew it. Then Palutena was announced that morning and I was like, "This is either perfect timing or hilarious irony." XD

Either way, I basically updated the description to fit with the announcement, but the entire image was done before Nintendo's digital event. I still think the joke stands though. :)

Though if Mewtwo was announced durring E3, that joke would've fallen flat.

I especially likke how they did it.
I expected Miis to be kinda like Mr.G&W or the Villager; that they´d use tons of items from games they appeared in and just had your face printed on them.
But now you can actually make your own fighters with unique movesets, that fits the idea of Miis far better I think :)

And I really like how they did Pac-Man. Tons of references to old-school games and very Pacman-y in everything he does.
Honestly, I was kinda afraid that they wouldn´t be abled to pull it off. I think the lesson here is "never doubt Sakurai" XP

Whoever: What's funny is I thought they would do something simmilar to this with Miis, except they'd borrow moveset options from a few characters, within reason of course. For example, I could've seen them using a boxing moveset from Wii Sports based on Little Mac, or a Find Mii sword and shield based on Link. However, I prefer this solution and think it works a whole lot better.

I was definately curious about what Pac-Man's moveset would be. I think Sakurai has always come up with excellent solutions for characters like him (going as far back as Pokemon Trainer in Brawl).

I just got Sakurai's Mii on the Wii U console! Now I just need to find one for Reggie, Iwata, and Miyamoto (I have them on 3DS but can't transfer them). I'm goona have fun pitting them against each other in Smash Bros. :)

conceptionally, PacMan is the most terrifying character in Smash bros, he's have pill addicted yellow t3sticle who throws living pixelated beings to do he's biding and then swings a fr3kin' fire hydrent, if that doesn't scare you, I don't know what will...
