Diane was given to the Trainer Grimbeauty to begin her journey throughout the Kalos region. They defeated all 8 Gyms together, and they also defeated the Elite Four and Champion. Diane then decided to retire to the PC and rest for a long while. Since then, she has had 3 children: Donald and Luke (twins), and Diane Junior. Luke and Donald are still Fennekins and very young, Diane Jr. has evolved into a Braixen and has decided not to fully evolve.
