I honestly miss funky kong, alot of people hated him in MKWii because alot of people used him for his hidden stats (speaking of those, did they return in 8? I'm curious) but I liked racing as him.

No bowser jr. or diddy kong makes me sad.

MK8 is so far the the best Mario Kart game than the previous games this generation! :)

No they didn´t. There´s only semi-hidden weight classes.
I think they want to prevent a situation like in Funky Kong Bike Wii (a.k.a. MKWii).
And it works, people actually pick a variety of characters this time around. More than in any MK-online mode I´ve ever seen!

In all honesty, this might be my new favorite Mario Kart. They did a really good job on this.

That Mii is hilarious. I love making those types of Miis.

I want a Wii U, just to play Mario Kart 8, just to see the famous Luigi Death Stare I've seen videos of.

Shy Guy is the only character I've ever been in this game.
He's just way too awesome to pick other characters.

But I like Daisy D': ... and her voice. However Im still pis.sed that they dropped KingBoo, he was always my favorite. Hope they put him in a DLC

I honestly think the pink gold peach was kinda random because she never had any sorta power-up thing like that in a mario game, then again there are the babies & they could've replaced some of these characters with characters that would make sense to be in it like Boom Boom or something. Overall the fames great & I still like most of the roster. :)

I think Metal mario isn't such a great idea, he was pretty much the Funky Kong of MK7 and it's basically just Mario... Metal. :/ Also ALL of the Koopa kids just doesn't work with me, I would've rather seen others like Bowser Jr and Pauline or something.

This game is the only reason I can think of to buy a WII U.

DAISY IS MY FAVOURITE MARIO CHARACTER EVERR!!!!! :O :( Awesome picture anyway though! :D I love the layout and I love the Rainbow Road background!!! Poor Daisy though. :((

Ah yeah! To me, it's cool to see the light class again with the baby characters. The Koopalings are also a very nice addition to me! Why not add new playable characters? /; D

-The Kooplings were pointless and replaced a bunch of characters people actually cared about such as Bowser Jr., Birdo, Diddy Kong and more.
-Rosalina is sounding and acting less like the mysterious and mystical figure she was introduced as.

To everyone complaining about the Koopalings; I wasn´t happy about them at first, but I think they gave ´em a lot of personality. And seeing them being played by so many people kinda justifies having them in.
But I never really liked Bowser Jr to begin with so that might play a role too...

i really hope they add dlc charactors using amiibo
