I cant believe that its been ONE YEAR since my first painting on Colors! I've improved so much since i started and ive made so many friends! Thank you all for the great times i've had here!

...Anyway, if you're looking for a cartoony style, try cel-shading like @AeroAnts (one shade for light, one for dark). If you want more realistic shading, that's what I try to pull off (gradient shading based on orientation and shape) and I get better each time. For inspiration, study the shading around you; watch for how light shines and where it doesn't. Tutorials help, too!
