Aegis is Not A robot. Shes a Cyborg. Shes got a few implants, but shes still human. The 2 different colored eyes r poof of that.
She hides them behind her goggles.
Not alot of ppl in the hunter organization appreciate an non-robot amongst them.
So she has a hard time fitting in.
