Firefox's story
Rolling through the long dry grass, yelping at the smallest sound, Felix noticed something in the distance. He scurried over to the glowing object in the middle of the meadow. It was a huge red gem. He curiously placed his paw on top of the gem. Suddenly woosh! A wild fire spread across the land in mere seconds. Felix yelped in pain as flames roared all around him, closing in on him. There was nothing he could do, he was trapped?...

Felix awoke with a burning sensation. He felt as though he was on fire. He looked across the field. There was nothing. No grass on the ground, no buzz of bumble bees, no sign of life. Everything smelt of burnt toast. A heavy smoke filled the air around him? He stood up and took one step. As soon as his paw touched the ground, the earth underneath him started to sizzle and get hotter. He took another step, the same happened again. He was burning the ground. He was on fire...
