I can pretty much relate. You don't have to be afraid to try new things. I'm about to do some new things and I sort of thought my followers would disagree with some of it, but when I saw the comments I got, they wanted to see me do them. What you draw is up to you. Not everyone else. :)

Perhaps just try sketching things out on paper until yoy're confident with a pose before trying it on here? Idk
I don't know much about expressions though ^-^
I'm sorry that I couldn't help much, but I hope you find a way so then you can produce more great art :D
