I woke up one day, and I could see nothing but a white light overwelming me, then I realized that there was a large white wolf standing above me with massive golden wings and golden crown
"Get up young one" he softly said to me "go and try out your new wings"
I struggled a bit as i try to get up on my paws that seemed to big for me, i looked at myself, i seemed to be a white wolf pup with pure white wings and a halo and I seemed to have some blue markings too, i fluttered my wings and was suprized how easily my paws lifted off the ground, "This is fun!" i giggled a bit
The large wolf chuckled, "It is isn't it, my name is Goldenrod, and this is the land of angels" he pointed his nose around us to a large open area that looked like white clouds sprinkled with golden light, there were several other winged wolves swiftly moving around, "I am the leader of these angel wolves, we help the people and animals that reside on earth, and i am here to give you a name, child"

He gazed at me as I gazed at me as I gazed at him wide eyed
"Fade" he said
"Fade? is that my name?" It seemed like an odd name for an angel to me
"Yes it is" his kind eyes darkened "With every spirit that comes here, I get the honer of seeing there destinys to determine their names, most will get a name of Light or Healer, but you are different . . ." and with that he mysteriously disappeared
"What . . ." was all I could say
