Inspired by Chinese poetry found in the novel "Eight Skilled Gentlemen" by Barry Hughart. The Dragon-Boat Festival is a major plot point: Lung Dragons race on the equinox to bring the Yin/Female/Water influence to China & therefore call the rainy season (monsoon).
Still working on several other drawings...this one was obviously a quick one. This is the second drawing inspired by Mr. Hughart's novels. I highly recommend them (there are only three). Hope to one day run into him as he lives here.
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Thank you for the awesome comments! I absolutely know what you mean about not having enough time to get these done (I keep trying though. I understand why some people hate tracing, I only traced about 3 pieces, majority of it is my weird imagination or referenced. I should let you know, I will be posting very (creepy) things because I'm looking for a way to vent my nightmares, I'm just letting you know so your young children don't get scared if they saw it. There's other adults on here, I've only found a few but they are worth the search. It's nice to have normal conversations. This drawing is also very cute, I have a unhealthy obsession for dragons (among many other things) and love almost anything dragon related. Keep drawing, you do great work!
