He panicked and hid behind a tree. A man with a tan, dark brown hair, and a goatee stepped out. Bob stayed hidden, but looked on w/ curiousity... He had never seen a human other than Grim before. This was when he noticed something about the man: he had no pupils, or irises. Bob's heartbeat quickened. Grim had said something about this man... That he was very dangerous, and to get her immediately if he ever saw him. The man looked over in his direction. He knew that he was being watched. Bob started to climb the tree, but the first branch he grabbed snapped, and he hit the ground. The man came over and stood over him as he scrambled back his feet. The man smirked when Bob's eyes grew with horror.
"You have nothing to fear, child. I only harm those who get in my way."
Bob bowed his head, trying to think of what to say.

The man touched his head gently.
"You seem troubled... Is there something on your mind?"
Bob looked flustered, and he looked up.
"Yes sir.. But I wouldn't want to trouble with it."
"Are you sure?" The man sat down on a nearby hill. Bob came over and sat down next to him.

"I was just thinking... about the past." The man looked at him understandingly.
"I think about the past alot too... About what I could have changed, how I acted..." He laid down and started picking at the flowers around him. Bob picked one and started plucking the petals off. The man looked at him contently.
"What's your name?" Bob looked up from the flower.
"Bobert. But I also go by Everett."
The man smiled, and Bob noticed it was just as warm and welcoming as Grim's.
"I'm Herobrine."
"Herobrine... That's an nice name." Bob laid down next to Herobrine, and sighed.
"I dunno why, but... I feel... happier... with you." Bob looked away and blushed. Herobrine chuckled.
"Me too... But with you." He touched smiled again.

^*smiled, not touched smiled

He touched Bob's knee gently.
"Why are you out here anyway?"
Bob smiled.
"I was just getting wood for my mo- HOLY CRAP I TOTALLY FORGOT TO GATHER WOOD!" Bob bolted up and started to punch the nearest tree. Herobrine got up and sat Bob down.
"I'll do it for you." He took a axe out of his bag that he had, and he started chopping down the tree.

Eventually, Herobrine had chopped down more than plenty of trees. Bob looked at his feet and smiled.
"...Thanks for the help..." Bob paused.
"Will I ever see you again?" Herobrine took Bob's hand in his.
"Of course. I live nearby." He smiled kindly, and Bob blushed. Herobrine let go of his hand, and Bob looked into his eyes.
"Can we meet again... Tomorrow night?" Herobrine smiled.

"Anything for you."
