*Death Mask walks through a ravaged world, striding among dead plants and old stone. The sky is a putrid green. He is silent. He caused this long ago, amd is remembering. There isn.t supposed to be life here anymore, but he sensed a change... A single strong life force, and he thinks it maybe nearby, but the sky blocks his senses a bit*

*Diabel soars just above the clouds, feeling the air ruffle through his feathers and he dips down occasionally to watch Death Mask, a single ebony feather falls from his wing as he ascends above the clouds again*

*the feather falls infront of Death Mask, who with quick reflexes, catches it. He looks at it silently. He narrows his eyes. A pair of bony wings with rubbery black membranes sprout from his back and he launches into the air straight at Diabel unexpectedly. He shoots out a metal chain that wraps around Diabel's leg*

*Diabel's eyes shoot down to the and he slices at it with the razor sharp claws on his gauntlet then dives to avoid Death Mask*

*Death Mask quickly changes course and grabs Diabel's tail. He hurls him into the dead ground below and lands nearby. He slowly walks towards Diabel*

Diabel: uuugh... ow... *Diabel slowly gets up and draws his wings into his back and summons a single handed long sword* whats your deal, huh!?

*Death Mask's wings draw into his back as well. He looks silently at Diabel for a few moments, the surges forward, grabbing the blade in his bony hand and breaking it. He speaks in a confined, masked voice voice*
Death Mask: "What are you doing here? This is a dead place."

*he throws the severed hilt of his sword away, his voice is laced with a calm hostility* i'm susposed to be figuring out what-or who's-going around k!lling planets. and i'm going to assume that you're what's doing it.

Death Mask: *Pushes him away* "I kiIled this planet a long time ago... perhaps there was a time flux and only now are you noticing their deaths... it happens a lot lately... I am not allowed to kiIl anymore planets, but I can still harvest them... So are you seeking revenge for these worlds' destruction?"

Diabel: i'm not, but someone is, they've ordered me to try and bring you down. *crouches down to touch the soil with his bare hand* so are we gunna do this the hard way or will you do me a favor and come peacefully?

Death Mask: "I only bow to one Master and her will alone, besides my own, will I ever listen to."

*Diabel stands straight up* then so be it *he summons an indestructable katana that gleams wickedly and gets into a battle stance* let me see just how strong you really are

*Metal sp!kes jut out of the ground and throw Dialbel off of his feet. He takes the katana, and summons it far away. He creates floating blades and readies himself*

*Diabel re-steadies himself and then charges at Death Mask*

*Death Mask punches Diabel hard in his gut and throws him 20ft away from him*

*he lands once on the ground on his back then bounces and lands on hi stomach, then rolls to his feet with barely any scratches* tch. *holds his hand to the sky and the clouds swirl over Death Mask and 10 large lightning bolts drop down on him*

*He is well grounded, so the lightning hardly hurts him. He shoots the floating blades at Diabel at blinding speed, atleast one hits his arm and digs in deeply*
Death Mask: "So who wants me? Why don't they come themselves to try and claim me."

*Diabel deflects all the rest of the blades and pulls the one thats lodged in his arm out* Theyre to busy with their own problems. settling un-needed conflicts in the other realms and providing that imp that wants to emanc!pate all the sl.aves in existence with an army. so they sent me to take care of you *makes a fissure open up underneath of Death Mask and slams the walls of the fissure closed when he falls in then heals his arm*

*Death Mask holds his arms out and keeps the fissure from crushing him. Metal spires brace the sides and he climbs out. He slugs Diabel in the face hard and slams his bony head into Diabel's face, knocking him out viciously*
Death Mask: "Sounds like they are either scared or lazy."

*Diabel falls unconcious with the force of the slam*

*Death Mask starts dragging him away*
Death Mask: "If you don't want him to die, come out! You sent him here and I demand to face you."

*no body comes forward* *Diabel struggles back into conciousness*

*he punches Diabel in the head to keep him unconsious*
Death Mask: "I SAID COME OUT, COWARD! ARE YOU SO VILE AS TO LET THIS BOY DIE? HHE DOESN'T DESERVE THIS. HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS GETTING INTO. COME OUT!!"

*an anonymous voice echoes around the area* he knew what he was getting into. he agreed to k!ll or be k!lled. he knew what his job entailed.
