So in the villagers final smash , he gives a bag of "bells" to tom nook to build a house, but the house ends up exploading... So im guessing the villager gave tom nook a bag of bombs instead of bells :p ( This is an original painting )

I like that hypothesis. Another way is that Tom Nook put bombs that he had into the house and then it blew up. :P
