The tentacles and purple liquid are most likely Strapstars digestive organs & fluids.
Also, Im guessing your digestive system only works with human flesh that was horribly chopped & mashed up to be able to digest it,
any thing ells you eat just goes right through you, mentaly shocked & horrible smelling.
