And May 15th marked the third year that I was on Hatena (I know, I know. Hatena shut down before my 3rd year.)

Certainly a loss. But at least some of the "spirit" of the place, as well as many former Hatena citizens, made it to Colors.

^i feel the same way. i dont miss the site much, i mostly miss the experience of making friends & easily being able to draw/chat with them. and SudoMemo doesn't really make those things possible..... idk. im ranting now... im really glad i found Colors3D tho, it is really great here, the app is fun to use, and the people are just TOO nice! [for the most part]

As good as Hatena was, there was still flaws, such as the reporting system compared to the one Colors! has. I never had an account there(too young at the time) so I just watched and starred flips.

its a good thing that ironically I made most of my friends three months before hatena was canceled. Since then I've met so many people, if hatena had been canceled earlier I might have never met anyone that I know now, thank you flipnote hatena.

If it weren't for Flipnote Studio, I probably would've been a completely different person. Wether for better or for worse, I don't know, but I owe tons to that app.

I'll be honest, Hatena was getting WAY too crowded with the same memes... and all the star-beggers... But it sucks that those creative minds who DID make their own works are forever to draw immoble 3D pictures now.

Really, good riddance, I say. The place became overrun with thieves, star beggars, and the same spin-off again and again. I gained over 200 Green Stars from reporting my FRED Flipnote thieves.
I've missed it, but not as much as I'm happy to see it gone.

All of those who I came to know I can still talk to, so it's no big loss for me. I guess we Hatenans can make due with this or better....

When Nintendo anonced that it would be cancled I put a 32gb sd card in my dsi and download like 6.OOO notes, it took soooooo long.

I actualy owe how I am today to Flipnote Studio and Hatena. Considering we still do not have flipnote 3d they should re-continue the old Hatena.

may 31 the day that flipnote hatena was gone so I change the name michael star to the mario bro so I make my youtube channel and playing minecraft that I saw flipnote studio 3D ......to be continue part 2 will be on youtube ;)

My only friend was on there. she is on this site but its not the same. i used to smile every day but when they said it was gonna end i cried. i used to smile for no reason but turns out i was smiling cuz of hatena. :(
