Photoshop definitely takes time to learn, but maybe you should start out with Easy Paint Tool Sai first... It's a little easier to learn how to use, and you could probably learn how to use photoshop by messing with Sai for a bit...

I will have to say, that is a pretty good deal for all of that...Its just a little too much for me right now...

Idk.... I think your dad really should have said you would have to pay for it before he bought it. That's really disapointing. If you think you'd be able too, you should probably confront him on the matter. idk I'm clueless about these sorts of things.

Photoshop is pretty hard to use if you're beginning. o:
Either way, I recommened getting Photoshop Elements because it's a mini,cheaper version of it. c:
But my vote goes to Paint Tool SAI because it's not too hard to use and the effect and impacts it creates are really great!!

i recommend you try "gimp"... its a free software thats like photoshop... but, with easier controls and layout... and btw: KEEP EVERYTHING $150 is not a bad deal to pay back... do you do anything to earn money? : /
cause i mow my families yard for $15 bucks and i could earn that back really fast.

oh... and you should tell your dad that that pic. on deviantart is not the worst way you could have been exposed to that... i got caught in a internet trap when i was around 12or13years old... i went to click a thumbnail of a lego animation and when i did... IT LOADED UP A F**KING P0RN SITE!!! D X <

uhh id do what isaac suggested and practice with your tablet on SAI. you could make a redbubble account and sell some designs (not commisions, but you can make your own tshirts, stickers, and more and you get some money out of it) but idkk thats a lot of pressure to be under :v

I think that a newer version of Photoshop is a good deal since the software has been changing and new features are present. As for your dad buying a new Mac at $I5O and telling you need to pay back? That's a really low blow. I'd just buy the new Photoshop than a new computer. And if your dad bought the Mac of his own money, why should you pay it back [unless if he really needs the cash for something and you have the money]? /; /
