i only played Wario ware D.I.Y. for sprite animation. I have a real cartoon animation program. Anime studio debut 9! (i barely know how to work it either lol)

i have Manga studio debut 4, that's awesome!

Lucky...i wish i could do animations with my dad to make a video game. To bad we dont get everything we ask for. XD

I wish i could help, but i dont know any other animation program.... And i need to work on Manga studio more. I've been using this alot but i could actually SELL comics! and more people could read/see 'em!

Adobe flash is really quite good, but also really expensive.Toon Boom Studio is much cheaper, but still pricey.
Personally, I can say that drawing the frames in a drawing program and animating them in windows movie maker works for me. But if you don't have windows, that doesn't work...
I'm sorry I can help much, I wish I knew more about animation.

and yeah well kinda. I'm still learning but i am learning to play Jonny B. Goode. If we play pokemon later and use Gamechat i can show you. Warning: i mess up sometimes and i haven't played the song perfectly before (what i know anyway, which s about 20 seconds) but i can play a goid bit of Vader's theme and the new Startrek theme. And the beginning of 007. lol i'll show u later :b

ok so I haven't used it cause I don't have the program,but I know a great animator that uses Adobe Flash CS6 I believe.Sorry if that doesn't help c'x

There is a software known as Toon Boom Animation that I had a few years back. I wasn't good at using it, but it is a great software. I believe you have a free trial before purchase, but I said, that was a few years ago, might have changed. Check it out. ^-^

I use Anime Studio Pro 8. It's great once you learn the basics. They also have alote of tutorials on youtube! Oh, and you can by one of the older versions of Anime Studio too. It maybe cheaper for you, it all depends on what exactly you want to animate.
